    Hi Doug! Next year we'll be playing tour for me, my wife and my son! We'll be arriving early 01/17 thru 01/25, have hopper tix and plan on doing La Nuba. My son will celebrate his birthday on 01/24 (8 years). Could you help me?

    Orlando,

    So not sure how many park days you have planned, so will assume no parks on arrival or departure dates. Here is where I would go;

    • January 17 - Arrival Day
    • January 18 - Magic Kingdom
    • January 19 - Animal Kingdom
    • January 20 - Magic Kingdom
    • January 21 - Epcot
    • January 22 - Hollywood Studios / Epcot
    • January 23 - Hollywood Studios
    • January 24 - Magic Kingdom
    • January 25 - Departure Day

    I only list initial parks here, but certainly consider the hopping possibility.

    For your son's birthday, I would worry less about having something special beyond a nice, fun dinner. Being at Walt Disney World is special enough. So I would say you pick a fun meal somewhere, and that should be enough.

    As for La Nouba, the night of the 19th might be best, as you can visit plenty of the Animal Kingdom and still make it there with time to enjoy the Downtown Disney area.

    I hope that this helps!

    Have a magical vacation!
