    Doug need your expert itin, advice! Arriving 12/21 - 12/31...staying POR have 3 dd: 11, and twin 6 yo. We are hesitant about having to go during such a busy time. Noticed you don't recommend doing parks w/ emh - HELP - no dining reserv made yet. No PH opt

    Karma,

    Don't think of this busier crowd time as a reason NOT to go to the parks. Would it be nicer if the crowds were a little bit lighter? Sure. But that doesn't mean you won't have fun! It will be TONS of fun. You just want your family prepared for longer line waiting times, and plan for how to steer away from the crowds as much as possible, that's all.

    And yes, I would try to steer away from the Extra Magic Hours, as they pack the crowds in a bit more. You are going to have PLENTY of time there, so don't worry because you might have missed a free extra hour of park time here or there. Of course the Magic Kingdom has Extra Magic Hours almost every day you are there, so you can basically treat those as standard hours now.

    So here is where I would go;

    • December 21 - Arrival Day/Magic Kingdom
    • December 22 - Epcot
    • December 23 - Hollywood Studios
    • December 24 - Animal Kingdom
    • December 25 - Epcot
    • December 26 - Hollywood Studios
    • December 27 - Magic Kingdom
    • December 28 - Magic Kingdom
    • December 29 - Hollywood Studios
    • December 30 - Magic Kingdom
    • December 31 - Departure Day/Epcot

    Write me back if you need dining suggestions!

    Have a magical vacation!
