Doug -we are making ADR. You seem to like Sci-Fi and Prime TIme @HS. We are partial to Hollywood and Vine with Fantasmic Dining Pkg. Only there for 1 tableservice. Do you think we should try Sci -Fi or Prime Time or stick with what we know?(DD11, DD8).

    Jana,

Actually, I think that Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater restaurant is a bit overrated. I like the atmosphere, but the food is overpriced for what you get, and nothing to go out of your way for. Shakes are good though!

I do, however, LOVE 50s Prime Time Cafe. Top 5 meal for me in all of Walt Disney World!

If it were me, I would opt for Hollywood and Vine over Sci-Fi, and I would pick 50s Prime Time over anything at Hollywood Studios, with the possible exception of the very expensive but yummy Brown Derby.

So my bottom line recommendation is that if you think that the kids are up for some fun entertainment, and like some of the 50s Prime Time comfort food selections (amazing Fried Chicken!), then go out of your comfort zone, knowing it is going to be fun, delicious, and hardly 'adventurous' in the cuisine department. Otherwise stick to what you know, and what is a really great meal, at Hollywood and Vine!

I hope that this helps? Certainly send me any follow-up questions!

I ADORE chatting about the restaurants at Walt Disney World!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
