    Hi Doug! I love reading your responses in this great panel! I keep hearing about Candlelight Processional. preferred seating/dining. I've already booked all my dining reservations. How does the preferred seating work and which restaurants participate?

    Lois,

    Basically the preferred seating works like this. You dine at one of the participating World Showcase restaurants, and when done you get a pass for the show.

    You still have to wait in line, and the pass is not as "guaranteed" as it might sound, as it is still first-come, first-serve. So make sure you are in line a good half hour early, at least. And make sure you are in the correct line, as you want to be in the one for the pass, not for the rest of the guests just waiting for a seat that did not have a dinner package. Typically that is the line that trails off towards Japan/Morocco/France, but make sure.

    Also, be certain to specify that you want an Advanced Dining Reservation for the Candlelight Processional Dinner package, as they don't just hand out the passes to all their dinner guests.

    Finally, here are the participating restaurants;

    • Garden Grill
    • Biergarten
    • San Angel Inn
    • Restaurant Marrakesh
    • Nine Dragons
    • Rose & Crown
    • Chefs de France
    • Tutto Italia
    • Le Cellier Steakhouse
    • Teppan Edo
    • Tokyo Dining
    • Coral Reef
    I hope that this helps!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
