Hi Doug! Love the panel! Going to WDW 12/11 to 12/17. What would you suggest for arrival day? We would like either HS or Epcot. HS has Fantasmic that night. Would HS be real crowded? We have DS 4 and DS 2. What would be better for the boys? Thanks!

    Jannel,

    FYI, we love you too!

While you are visiting on a great week in terms of crowd size, you are going to arrive on the sole busy day of your entire stay. Having said that, I would most definitely go to Epcot that day, since Hollywood Studios will be busier due to the morning Extra Magic Hours. Now for the rest of the week you should feel free to go to the parks with Extra Magic Hours, but that first day it is worth avoiding them.

Now as for Fantasmic!, you will see that it has showings also on the 13th, 15th, and 17th, so go to Hollywood Studios on one of those nights instead.

As for what is better for the boys, at 2 and 4 probably Hollywood Studios has more for them, but I think that with a 7 day visit, you should visit all four parks, as all have at least a day’s worth of fun for them! So let Epcot kick your fun off, and have a great first night dinner at one of the park’s restaurants, maybe Garden Grill, Biergarten, Rose and Crown, or Le Cellier?

Let me know if I can help with more!

    Have a magical vacation!
