Hi Doug! Love you guys! Ok, I'd like to stay at the Contemporary Resort next year but not sure about the cost. What is your suggestion on the moderate resort that is most comparable to the Contemporary? I prefer more modern accommodations. Thanks!

    Tinisha,

The decor at the moderate resorts follow very different and specific themes (Caribbean, Mexican/Central American, urban & rural Louisianan). None are truly matches for what you find in the Contemporary resort.

However the recent refurbishments of the Casitas section of the Coronado Springs have created room interiors that I think provide an elegance you might find to be a suitable (and less expensive) alternative. The beds are similar to the ones you find at most mid- to up-scale business hotels, and the decor is appropriately understated. I also like the location within the resort, as you are close to the main building, and all the amenities that provides.

So is it an inexpensive copy of the Contemporary? Certainly not. But if you can get this section of the resort, I think you will find it is very much like a 'contemporary' business convention hotel in a Mexican coastal town.

I hope that this helps. If you think you might prefer some other recommendation, tell me more about some of your likes/dislikes, and I can try again!

    Have a magical vacation!
