    Hi Doug. Is there a limit on how many ? a "regular" customer can ask? I have so many. Any ideas on how to spend a full day at AK. Never spent much time there and other than rides have not done any shows or walking trails. Kids love animals. Thanks

    Linda,

    Absolutely NOT! We love repeat questions!

    My family is a big fan of the Animal Kingdom. I would suggest;

    Shows: Take in the Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo the Musical, and Flights of Wonder. They are each wonderful in their own way! This will mean some time management on your park, so check the performance times, and be ready to get in line 30 minutes ahead of time for the first two.

    Walking Paths: They are overlooked by most guests, which is a shame. The Maharajah Jungle Trek and the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail are both amazing, and well worth the time. The Discovery Island Trails are just OK. Finally, most people ignore the animal viewing areas in the Oasis, as they rush to their first attraction of the day. But if you can spare an extra 15 minutes as you exit the park, there are a few interesting animal pens. The other plus to these walking paths is that they don't require you to wait in line, or wait for a showtime.

    Full Day: To make a full day of it, plan a meal at either Tusker House or Yak and Yeti. They are both wonderful, in their own ways. Also allow younger guests to play in the expansive Dinoland USA play areas.

    BOTTOM LINE: I would suggest you go through the park as you have in the past, but keep an eye on the show schedules. Jump out of your routine to fit in those 3 shows. Take in the animal paths after whatever attraction was immediately adjacent, like the Kilimanjaro Safaris and Expedition Everest. Your day will still not run to late in the night, but it should be more complete than in the past.

    And keep those questions coming!

    Have a magical vacation!
