Hi Doug! We land at MCO at 7:35 PM. Do you think we should pick up our own luggage or apply the stickers and let Disney deliver it to our resort? Planning to hang out at POR and enjoy the resort the first night.

    Jaynee,

That is really your call. According to their estimates, your bags would be in your room within 3 hours. So by 10:30 pm. But I expect it will be less time than that.

    So what to do?

    • If you have a kid you need to get to bed by 10, pick up your bags.
    • If you are going to need things for that first night out on the town that you would put in a check in-bag, pick up your bags.

    • If you are going out for dinner, and don't need anything until you go to bed, let them take care of your bags.
    • If you are staying out later than 10, let them take care of your bags.

BOTTOM LINE: My guess is that it will simply be more convenient for you to just get your bags, rather than concern yourself with when they would get to your room. While the delivery service is a nice convenience, a late evening delivery may be somewhat inconvenient for you. Unpacking at 10:30 pm sounds like a bad way to start your vacation.

    Have a magical vacation!
