    Doug you helped me with my summer itin. and I need your help again. Planning a trip 12/10 but coming 1 wk before Christmas. What deluxe resort do you rec. (DD13&DD7) and where do you rec. eating on Christmas Eve and Day? Thanx!. Luv your advi

    Amanda from Texas!

    I remember you well!

    So for resorts, there are two recommendations.

    First: Wilderness Lodge. The cozy lodge feel of the place just screams "Christmas" to me! But with kids your ages, you might find yourself a bit out of the way of the destinations that are of the greatest interest to them. So instead, I would say go to the BoardWalk Inn. The activity level there is fun, and you can quickly be in the Epcot World Showcase or Hollywood Studios.

    As for dinner, know that EVERY table service restaurant will be packed, so make sure you are calling for reservations the first day you are allowed to do so. As for where to go, here are my personal favorites to get in that holiday mood;

    Magic Kingdom: Liberty Tree
    Epcot: Rose and Crown
    Epcot: Le CellierĀ
    Resorts: 'Ohana (for dinner)

    And for more dinner fun, maybe Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge.

    Let me know if this helps! And you KNOW I love repeat customers, so please send along some follow-up questions!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
