Hi Doug. U helped plan trip last yr.Loved it. Want to go 8/10 10days.FQw/13d,15s.or Pop w/reg dp, pref rm, fridge?I have feet probs so need smaller. Please help with iitinerary, days&meals for qs/table..Maybe a show or CRT? Thanks.

    Sherri,

Wish I could help, but August dates are not yet announced by Disney. They should be in about 2 months, but I will be 'retired' from the panel at year's end. So I would suggest that when those dates are published you shoot a question to the panel. There are a ton of great panelists who can help you out!

That being said, lets get to some of the other parts of your question we CAN take care of today. As for shows, I think Hoop Dee Doo would be fun. The Aloha show is neat, but with your kids Hoop might be better. And if budgets are an issue (as they are for most of us), then try Whispering Canyon Cafe instead. Great food, fun ambiance, and lower cost.

As for the hotel selection, if you can afford it, go with Port Orleans French Quarter. Pop is GREAT, but with two teens bouncing around, the extra room space and increased resort exploration areas are a valuable plus. Most importantly, the boat to Downtown Disney is a nice plus. Oh, and it is a smaller resort, so probably less walking.

    I hope that this helps?

    Have a magical vacation!
