Hi Doug, Help! First trip with daughters - 16 and 4. Trying to plan to accomodate both. Will be there over july 4th DDP booked Crystal Palace on 4th at 5:45. Will this be good to eat, then watch fireworks after there? also, thoughts on Ohana? Tips? THX

    Michelle,

The site does not indicate the Wishes fireworks start time yet, but with a park closing of 11 pm, I think you are good to get in dinner and still get a great seat for the show! Should be a magical night!

    Here are some tips.

Make sure you are in the park early. On busy days like the 4th, the Magic Kingdom can actually reach capacity, and due to safety regulations they have to stop letting people in. I have never had that happen to me, and would hate for it to happen to you.

Consider getting someone in your party to get a good parade route seat in front of Casey's well before it starts.

Be careful how you exit the park. After the fireworks it can be a bit of a mad rush for the door, so take your time, and let the mob out first.

As to 'Ohana, I like it. The food can be a bit all over the map, but it is a fun environment for a family. Make sure you ask for a seat in the main room, where both the view and the entertainment are better!

    Have a magical vacation!
