    Hi Doug! I grew up in Anderson, IN! Trip is 2 weeks away. I have the quick service plan now, but I am thinking of switching to the regular plan. I don't have any ADR's--am I too late? Want to get out of heat. Recs for solo, sit down dining?

    Nicole,

    Hey fellow Hoosier!

    I would try to get some Advanced Dining Reservations first, just to see if you will in fact get enough of them to warrant the move up to the standard plan. You can always cancel them if you do not.

    As for cooler indoor dining, obviously most table service restaurants are indoors, so that is kind of easy. But for counter service, here are my suggestions, by park;

    • Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Rays (the air conditioning stays in the restaurant more here than at others that have a more "open air" quality to their decor).
    • Epcot: Sunshine Season Food Fair (in the Land Pavilion, where you get a good variety of selections, and a festive setting)
    • Epcot: Tangerine Cafe (enough indoor seating to make it a reasonable option)
    • Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary
    • Animal Kingdom: The only real indoor seating for counter service is at Pizzafari and Restaurantosaurus. Pizzafari is not the greatest pizza you will ever eat, which makes Restaurantosaurus your best choice, even though it is just a burger place.
    I am glad to make more restaurant recommendations based on your dining interests!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
