    Hi Doug, So glad ur still on this site. This panel is AWESOME! We are frequent WDW visitors, but have never done Food and Wine Festival. DH and I would love some info about the food and classes offered. Thanks

    Lisa,

    Thanks for the praise!

    The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is a fantastic event! The food is amazing, and many of the classes and special events are over-the-top fantastic.

    Typically the reservations for the events open up in mid-August. But they will announce the schedule long before that, typically in the late June time frame. That is going to be your best bet to get information on what is going on the next time out.

    So here are a few tidbits on the event that I think make it special;

    • The food stands from different countries are great. Most of them are the same year over year, but they typically add a few new ones every year. My newest favorites are the Belgium stand (for obvious reasons!), and the Cheese stand.
    • The classes can range from very expensive to affordable. If you can afford these, they typically do not disappoint.
    • The Eat to the Beat concert series is a great part of the event. The musical groups are typically a draw from the past, but I love the nostalgic element of it all.
    • If you can do only one special event, the Party for the Senses might be your best bet. The tasting style-event really lets you get a lot of wonderful experiences in one magical night.
    I hope that this helps? Make sure you start checking the Disney Parks Blog regularly. That is where you will learn more about the newest news the moment that it is available!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
