    Hi Doug, since we're eating 2 char meals, would like most other meals to be more budget friendly. Want a few table meals during week, so maybe for lunch/break time? Family likes big variety of food...not picky eaters. Fantasmic dining deal recommended?

    Janna,

    I like your plan. I would recommend that you try to have lunches always at counter service restaurants. Why? Well lunchtime is the heart of your day. Would you rather spend it sitting at a table waiting for a server, or on a ride? Here are some of my favorites;

    • Magic Kingdom: Columbia Harbor House
    • Epcot: Tangierine Cafe
    • Hollywood Studios: The collective stands on Sunset Boulevard
    • Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ
    If you are going to toss in some more table service dining into your trip, do so at dinner, or possibly breakfast. As for the Fantasmic package, since it is at no cost, it seems fine. But typically you have to dine at less than ideal times, which for me makes it not worth it. Oh, and I would never waste an extra dining credit for it. But if you want a good table service choice in the parks that won't destroy your budget as well, here are a few;

    • Magic Kingdom: Plaza Restaurant
    • Epcot: Biergarten
    • Hollywood Studios: Mama Melrose's
    • Animal Kingdom: Tusker House (Breakfast)
    • Resorts: Whispering Canyon Cafe
    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
