Jill,
So let's look at what you should do. Here is where I would go, with the assumption that with 10 days you want to hit all four parks, as well as Downtown Disney;
- December 22 - Arrival Day
- December 23 - Animal Kingdom (am & afternoon) / Downtown Disney (pm)
- December 24 - Magic Kingdom
- December 25 - No park day
- December 26 - Epcot
- December 27 - Hollywood Studios
- December 28 - Hollywood Studios
- December 29 - Magic Kingdom
- December 30 - No park day
- December 31 - Animal Kingdom (am & afternoon) / Epcot (pm)
- January 1 - Hollywood Studios
- January 2 - Epcot
- January 3 - Magic Kingdom
- January 4 - Departure Day
I show you in just 1 park per day in most cases. That is not to say you should not park hop, but I wanted to recommend a primary park for the day. If you want to go elsewhere for the evening, do it based on your dinner destination or allow for some personal flexibility to choose as the days progress.
A key rule is this; on Christmas Day and New Years Eve you do not want to move parks, period. The Magic Kingdom can reach full capacity on both days, and you could get shut out of a park, even if you have dining reservations inside.
Finally, consider what you want to do about dining, as well as on your rest day. I am glad to work with you on ideas for both. Just write me back with likes/dislikes, traveling party, etc., and I can come up with some great ideas!
Have a magical vacation!
