Doug: Going to Disney in Oct. We want to try new restaurents. Made reservations at Boatwrights Dining Hall. Is that good or would you recommend someplace else? Made reservations at 1900, ohana, garden grill, mama melrose and liberty tree (our fav)

    Tracy Lynn,

I don't think that Boatwrights Dining Hall is a bad choice, I just would not go out of my way to go there.

Basically I think that if someone is a guest of that resort, it is more than just a convenient dining option. I think it is a great dining convenience that they should take advantage of. So good food is certainly available.

However, if someone was not a resort guest, and especially if they did not have a car, I would not want to go through the pain of getting to that restaurant when so many other even better options might be easier to get to.

As for your other choices, I love them all!

So write me back if you want a suggestion elsewhere, with an idea of where you might be. Otherwise, enjoy Boatwrights and definitely try either the Jambalaya or the Voodoo Chicken!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
