    Doug! The Disney Guru!!! What park would you visit on Thanksgiving day? Want to beat the crowds. I've read that MK is the busiest on a holiday. What about the day after (Friday)? Thanks so much! You rock!!!! Love the panel.

    Mary,

    Regardless of what park you choose to visit, be aware of one thing;

    The parks can reach full capacity, and they will stop allowing guests to enter.

    This only happens on the rarest and busiest of days, but Thanksgiving day and especially the Friday after are days where it can happen. Especially at the Magic Kingdom.

    Don't get mad at Disney. This is just for basic safety, based on the Fire Marshall code allowing only so many in for safety's sake.

    So arrive early to your park, try to plan a day where you don't park hop, and avoid the need to exit and then re-enter.

    While the other parks will face less of this problem, I will say that it is hard to recommend any park over the Magic Kingdom. The decor, especially on that Friday when the holiday decorations seem to have appeared overnight (and in fact, did), are amazing. But you are certainly better off at a park like the Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios.

    Please send more questions if I can help further!

    Have a magical vacation!
