Doug, my daughter and I enjoyed meeting you at the "beverage" cart in France on Sat. Isn't Epcot amazing? For our Sept 09 trip, my DD4, DH, & I are looking for a resort within walking distance of the International Gateway. Any recommendations?

    Adrianna!

Such a pleasure meeting you as well!

I love ALL the resorts that are in the Epcot Resort area (Beach Club, Yacht Club, BoardWalk Inn, Swan, and Dolphin). The convenience of boating/walking to two of the parks is invaluable, and I love having the BoardWalk and Epcot World Showcase right there for evening entertainment.

But with a 4-year old daughter, I would say that the Yacht or Beach Clubs would be the best choices. Not just because of the amazing pool, but for the in-resort amenities. I love having the restaurants actually in the resort, as well as the Beaches and Cream Soda Shop for some sweet treats! I prefer the Yacht Club decor, but would choose the Beach if I were there with kids.

Now remember, any of these 5 would be great! So don't worry if you have to choose one of the others. And they have nice unique features, as well as fun pools too. Also if you have hotel points with Starwood (Sheraton, Westin, etc.) you might look at the Swan/Dolphin. They are Starwood resorts, and a few free nights never hurts!

Thanks so much for the question, and have a magical vacation!
