    Hi Doug Celebrating ann 12/1 - 12/8 at POFQ. Recommend sleigh ride or POR carriage ride for romantic outing? Want to surprise hubby. Have ADRs, tour, MVMCP & Candlelight P. booked. Just bought your book and love it so far! Thanks for all your help!

    Thanks for the praise on the book, I appreciate it!

    As to the choice between the sleigh ride and the carriage ride, both are very romantic, and it is a pretty subjective thing to choose between the two. For my preference, I would go with the Port Orleans carriage ride, but both are great.

    Ultimately, however, I think that it is easy to recommend the carriage ride to you. I say that because you are already staying at Port Orleans resort.

    I think that romantic occasions, just like spa treatments, are ones that should be chosen based on ease of execution. Having to travel to the location of the ride, then have to travel back from it, seems to add a pair of very non-relaxing, non-romantic bookends to an otherwise romantic time. So I would stick close to home.

    By the way, I love your other activities as well! You are sure to have a great time!
