Hi Doug! Another ? 4 u. Booked @ CSR w/ free DP but now debating upgrading to DDDP, if we do, would have to stay @ Value due to budget. Do u think it's worth upgrading the DP & downgrade resort? Stayed @ Pop in 07 & liked it. DD's now 15&11. T

    Rosa,

I would say that you should probably stick to the Coronado Springs and the standard dining plan, but that is just me. I think that the resort will provide more for your 11 and 15 year old to explore, and the added dining might be more table service dining (and all the time that these meals take) than you would want. Sure, you can use a table service dining credit from the Deluxe Dining Plan at a quick service restaurant, but every time you do that you minimize the savings that the plan provides.

Now I love the Value resorts. No slam there. But the benefits of the Deluxe dining plan upgrade do not, in my mind, outweigh the benefits of the Moderate resort experience.

If you were to go to my bio page and ask me another question, detailing where you plan on dining, I can make a more detailed assessment of whether or not the Deluxe plan would be a good decision or not. But as it stands now, I would say you should keep your plans as you have them now.

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
