    Doug, you are the best! Staying with mom and 4 yo daughter late Sept. 2010 at Polynesian. My question is what is the best longhouse for a lagoon view room. I have read so many mixed reviews and have been out to the Tikiman website. Thx.

    Obviously Hawaii has the concierge level, so that would be the most optimal. But assuming you are not paying for that extra, I always like Tahiti. It is a bit more of a walk from the main longhouse of the resort, but I like a bit of quiet and solitude. Also, it is a newer building, so if I get placed in a 2nd floor room, I still get a balcony. That is important with a 2 and 4 year old that go to bed earlier in the evening.

    Tuvalu is a good choice too, but second in my opinion to Tahiti.
