Doug, arriving sept. 6 4:30 @air using ME have 6 day hop/water pass & dining staying at pop trying to plan 1st and last day leaving for air around 12:00. Any ideas? Thanks so much!

    Lori,

Glad to help. Arrival and departures can really make a vacation, as they are the first and last parts of your memories at Walt Disney World.

For the arrival, you are getting there pretty late in the day, so would suggest that you focus on a dinner/fireworks experience that will set the mood for the vacation. You could go with a dinner at 'Ohana in the Polynesian, providing a view of the Wishes fireworks show. If they are scheduled after your dinner will be over, wander to the resort beach where the soundtrack from the park is piped in. Another option is a show dinner, like the more expensive (Spirit of Aloha, Hoop Dee Doo Review), or affordable (Whispering Canyon Cafe). A final choice is dinner at Downtown Disney (Raglan Road, Bongo's, House of Blues), paired with some early shopping!

For your departure, you have less time, so I offer these two options. Swimming or breakfast. Take along some Ziplocks for the suits. Another choice is a great character breakfast before you leave, like Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary.

I am glad to offer more suggestions, if these don't meet with your interests!

    Have a magical vacation!
