Doug, it's me again! I read you said pick Mart..26 or Trin. N 31. Are these standards? ? is, what building should we ask for at CBR- don't have in budget for preferred and need to be on ground floor because of two double strollers and grandparents going

    Penny,

Well the truth is, that changes. Disney does adjust what qualifies as a preferred room, a standard room, etc. over time as demand changes. And with the addition of room types at this resort like the Pirates of the Caribbean themed rooms, it has changed here very recently.

The basic rule, however is this: Proximity to the main amenities areas is one of the main reason that a room would be preferred. But never assume. When you are 10 days out from your trip, make sure you do the online check-in. At that point, if the online form allows for it, indicate your two preferences. Then, that same day, call and ask for you preferences as well.

Calling more than 10 days in advance will not help you. But calling 10, 9, or 8 days in advance can help them earmark a room for you that accommodates as many of your requests as possible.

    Good luck!

    Have a magical vacation!
