    Hello Doug! Your advice is amazing. I'd like to impose on your wisdom if I may? We're taking our first trip with our little ones (4 and 6) October 2nd - 8th to Disney World with Park hopper and dining package and need to build and itinerary. Can you help?

    Michael,

    Thanks for the praise!

    Because the October schedules are not out yet,  this is just a guess. You may want to send me a follow-up question at the start of April to re-adjust if the Extra Magic Hours don't match with the days you plan to go to specific parks. But I am going to be there at almost the exact same time, so I think this is a pretty safe plan;

    • October 2 - Arrival Day
    • October 3 - Magic Kingdom (all day)
    • October 4 - Animal Kingdom (AM) / Hollywood Studios (PM)
    • October 5 - Epcot (AM) / Magic Kingdom (PM)
    • October 6 - Hollywood Studios (AM) / Epcot (PM)
    • October 7 - Magic Kingdom (all day)
    • October 8 - Departure Day
    With this being your first trip, you really want to spend more time at the Magic Kingdom than anywhere else. If you have time for a park on the 2nd or 8th, go to the Magic Kingdom then too.

    Write me back with the itinerary you decide on, and let me know which dining package you have, any food likes/dislikes, and any other info you can provide. We can plan out your meals next!

    Have a magical vacation!
