DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando at Disney Springs. We have breakfast reservations at 7:35 am for Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe. What is the best way to travel here and what time should we plan to leave in order to make it on time?

Hi Hanna!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation begins tomorrow!!  I'll be happy to help you figure out your transportation options.

If you will have a vehicle, I think the easiest way to travel would be to drive directly to Disney's Beach Club Resort.  Guests with dining or other reservations are eligible for complimentary standard-self parking for up to 3 hours.  Follow road signs to the Epcot area resorts, or use a GPS device.  I would plan to leave your hotel around 6:50 am or so just to be on the safe side.

The Disney Springs Area Hotels, including DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando, provide shuttle service to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.  However, there is no direct resort to resort transportation.  Although it would be theoretically possible to take the shuttle to a theme park and then transfer to a bus to Disney's Beach Club Resort, it would be rather time consuming.  With transfers, you would need to allow at least 90 minutes to complete the trip.  Shuttle service usually begins an hour prior to park opening.  With your early breakfast reservation, I don't recommend traveling by bus.

A much better option would be door-to-door transportation with Disney's Minnie Van service.  A ride in one of these cute polka-dotted vehicles would be a fun way to start off your day and arrive in style for your breakfast date with Minnie and her friends at Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast.  Minnie Vans are requested and paid for using the Lyft app and come equipped with up to 2 child safety seats.  Even better, any promos or discounts in your Lyft account can be applied toward your Minnie Van ride.  Another option would be to use another rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft or a taxi.

Although the actual travel time should be about 15 minutes, I would request a ride about 30 - 40 minutes prior to the time you would like to arrive at Cape May Cafe.  Plan to check in for your dining reservation 5 - 10 minutes ahead of your reservation time.

I hope that helps!  Please stop by the Moms Panel again anytime with any additional questions.  Have a wonderful vacation!
