ChEARs Dee!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I completely sympathize with your concerns about little legs. Our youngest are five and seven, and while they do a great job walking the Parks, most of the time I have a stroller backup. Honestly, sometimes I want to be pushed in it!
You can
rent single and double strollers that are tan plastic. They are roomy and waterproof! They have a sun umbrella, and most importantly, a big pocket in the back that you can label with your family name. (You will see how important this is when you are in the
Parks in a sea of strollers!) The strollers don’t recline, but often, I will bring a blanket or poofy jacket so that the kiddos can curl up and nap. They are honestly that roomy! The recommended total
weight restriction for the single stroller is 50 lbs and the double is 100 lbs. Since I’ve got
three littles, we often rent two strollers (a double and a single), because preventing meltdowns = mama’s sanity (am I right?!). If you don’t want to do that, sometimes we play a game with them where whoever isn’t in the stroller gets to pick the next thing that we do. THAT = a lot of volunteer walking on the part of
the kids!
If you are going to be in the
Parks for more than a day, I would suggest a Length of Stay Rental. You can pre-pay for the number of days that you need the stroller and pay less than you would if you rented each day. All you need is to show your receipt at each rental location to get your stroller for the day! Strollers are conveniently available to rent at all four Theme Parks and
Disney Springs.
Dee, I hope your visit is practically perfect in every way.
