Hi Kenny!
Welcome to planDisney! I am always glad to help a fellow New Yorker make the most out of the Walt Disney World vacation! While the fall weather in the East is gorgeous, there's something about spending some time in that warm Southern sun that makes September trips to the Most Magical Place on Earth totally worth it!
The Walt Disney World Resort offers multiple transportation options for its Guests when arriving at the parks and hotels. Water taxis, buses, ferries, and monorails have predominantly been the best means of travel throughout your stay.
Disney Skyliner is the newest transportation option for Guests headed to
EPCOT or
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Disney Skyliner is accessible from
Disney's Pop Century Resort,
Disney's Art of Animation Resort,
Disney's Riviera Resort, and
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort with a destination of International Gateway at EPCOT or the entrance to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Once open, the doorways into the Skyliner gondolas are 30" in width, and for the safety of guests and Cast Members alike, double strollers must be folded prior to boarding. This will allow you to safely board Skyliner for your ride in the sky.
Skyliner Tip: Disney Skyliner gondolas have different themes, from Coco to Monster's Inc., to the most recent addition, the 50th Anniversary skin. My recommendation for your little ones is to try and get a gondola with your child's favorite character. It makes the ride just a little bit more special for them.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
Malanie
