Hello there, Andrea! Welcome to planDisney, I'm sure you must be eagerly counting down the days until your visit! I hope you have the most magical visit. Enjoy all the attractions, eat all the snacks, and have fun making memories!
Wheelchair rental is available at all four theme parks, as well as Disney Springs, and the two water parks. They are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Since it sounds like you will be needing a wheelchair throughout your visit, you also have the option of paying for multi-day use by pre-paying ahead of time at the park where you get your wheelchair. The great thing about Walt Disney World is the abundance of stroller parking throughout the parks. There is stroller parking near Main Street U.S.A., right by Casey's Corner and The Crystal Palace, which is usually where I park my stroller when I hit the shops.
Pro Tip: Mark your wheelchair with brightly colored ribbon, or with a sign with your name on it. Sometimes Cast Members will move strollers and wheelchairs around to accommodate the influx they get, and it'll be easier to find amongst all the other strollers and wheelchairs.
Speaking of shopping,
Emporium is one of my favorite places to visit at Disney's Magic Kingdom Park. I love purchasing coffee mugs and other souvenirs here, and dolls for my girls. Anything and everything can be found here. Stop by
Main Street Bakery (directly across the street!) for a warm Mickey-shaped cinnamon roll and coffee, or visit Plaza Ice Cream Parlor for a sweet treat after shopping. You can't go wrong with either!
I hope all of this information helped you today, Andrea. Have a jolly holiday at Walt Disney World!
Frances
