    Don't want to have to pay for checked luggage on flight. Staying at All Star Movies. Do they furnish shampoo and toothpaste, etc.?

    Hi, Pat!  I so hear you on those checked luggage fees!  With my family of five, we sometimes end up paying almost as much as it would cost to fly an extra person by the time everyone checks their bags!  It's crazy!

    You will have only the basics at the All Star Movies resort.  You'll find small bar soaps for both the sink and the shower, and you will also be provided with a shampoo/conditioner combination product.  You can have those replaced with whatever you need through "Mousekeeping" - your resort's housekeeping staff.

    There is also an area in the shop at All Star Movies where you'll find things like toothpaste, deodorant, and other toiletry items.  You may not have the variety that you have at your regular store, but in a pinch, they'll work.

    What I usually do is hit the local Walmart or Target for the travel sized toiletry items.  Those that are not considered liquid fit nicely inside pants pockets or shoes, and take up virtually no extra space.  The others, like toothpaste, hairspray, and mouthwash, I put in a zip top bag on the way down, then throw them away before I come back home.  They take up so little space, and it's well worth the savings.
