Hello Rachele!
Thanks for coming back to see us again. We're always happy to help!
I attended
Disney After Hours at EPCOT on one previous visit, but I hope that won't be my only opportunity to enjoy late-night fun in the parks. My family loved riding our favorite attractions over and over with minimal waits, and my kids especially enjoyed the complimentary snack opportunities. Our special event ticket even allowed us to get a jump start on the fun before the park closed for the day, which was an added bonus.
After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT are currently scheduled from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. on select days, with entry beginning at 7 p.m. At
Disney's Hollywood Studios, the event runs from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The parks will close to daytime guests without an event ticket according to the
Hours & Events Calendar. In my experience, there was a 1-hour buffer between EPCOT's official closing time and the start time of our After Hours event. This allowed daytime guests to finish up attractions, dining, and shopping before exiting the park. You'll want to review the park hours for your specific travel dates to determine what time you'd need to leave without an After Hours ticket.
We don't have details for 2025 event dates just yet, but I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blogs for announcements. I'm hopeful you'll enjoy hours of fun no matter what type of admission or itinerary you decide on for your January visit.
Rachele, I hope this was helpful. Please come back and see us again with more planning questions.
Magic and memories,
Amy
