    If I don't spend the extra money for a savannah view at AKL will there still be spots throughout the resort where we can view the animals in the savannah? Thanks for all the great tips. Your info. saved me lots of money on my last trip!

    Yes. There are several animal viewing stations on the grounds of the Animal Kingdom Lodge. In the evenings there will even be cast members stationed around the resort who will lend you night-vision goggles to view the animals in the dark. You do not even have to be guest of the AKL to participate in this. I have not yet stayed at the AKL (first time in September!), but I have dined at Boma several times. After dinner we will often walk around the resort to explore the resort and look at the animals. If you go to the guest relations desk at the hotel, they can give you a map of the best viewing spots.
