If I don’t go on a ride but I give my magic band to someone in my party to wear on the ride. Will their photos get linked to my account?

Say cheese, Katrina! Welcome to planDisney, where one of my favorite topics is attraction photos. My family has a tradition of doing silly group pictures on rides at Walt Disney World Resort. We've even been known to bring along props! My favorite photo was on Space Mountain when we all brought blankets and acted like we were snuggled up for naps! Knowing where the cameras are located on attractions is my superpower!

If you're linked as Family & Friends on your My Disney Experience accounts, and you're sharing plans, then everyone's photos will be shared automatically, Katrina. Since MagicBands are linked to each individual, I never take my band off in the parks. I'm always afraid I'll get it mixed up with someone else's! That said, attraction photos will link to the same account the band is linked to as long as the band has an active battery.

I love having all the PhotoPass pictures from my Disney visits, and Memory Maker is the perfect way to have digital downloads of all your photos, including select attraction photos. And if you purchase Memory Maker before your visit, you get a substantial discount! There's nothing like reliving the magic through pictures.

I hope you have a fantastic time on your next visit, Katrina. Be thinking of some fun props for your ride photos! I'd love to see what you come up with. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine

I married my college sweetheart, and now that our only son is grown, we are exploring the empty-nest life. My family has been visiting Walt Disney World Resort for over 25 years, so if you have questions about adult-only visits, plant-based meals, thrill attractions, and Florida-resident perks, I'm here for you in full Force. Like Yoda would say, "Trips, we will plan!" Learn More About Elaine
