Hi there, Samantha!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney as you prepare to set sail aboard Disney Cruise Line. There's so much to love about magic on the high seas! With deliciously themed dining, enchanting character encounters, captivating entertainment, and ports of call at
private islands, it's impossible to choose my favorite part of a Disney Cruise!
Speaking of things to love about Disney Cruise Line, Samantha, the cash-free convenience makes shopping a breeze! Whether you're purchasing a souvenir at one of the shops onboard your ship (or Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point) or ordering a poolside beverage, you'll be able to charge the purchase to your stateroom folio using your
Key to the World Card or DisneyBand+. Then,
periodically throughout your voyage these charges will be applied to the form of payment you associated with your Onboard Account when you completed your Online Check-In. Although Disney Cruise Line recommends using a credit card as your method of payment to avoid potential fees or temporary holds, you'll be delighted to hear that debit cards are also listed as an
accepted form of payment. Just be sure to notify your financial institution before you set sail!
While I can always find
gadgets and gizmos aplenty to charge to my stateroom (just ask my husband), don't forget that most restaurants, snacks, and 24-hour room service(!!!) are
included in the cost of your cruise!
I hope this was helpful, Samantha and that you’re setting sail with Captain Mickey
real soon. If you’re in need of any additional assistance as you finalize your plans, feel free to
stop back by. We’re always happy to help here at planDisney!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
