Welcome to planDisney, Leticia! Contactless payment really does make a Disneyland day feel that much smoother, and I’m happy to help you navigate your options.
The great news is that you don’t need to have your physical
Disney Visa Card from Chase with you in order to use it. As long as your card has been added to your Apple Wallet, you can absolutely use Apple Pay for purchases throughout the
Disneyland Resort. Apple Pay (along with other contactless options like Google Pay) is widely accepted across the resort, including most quick-service dining locations, carts, and retail shops. If you’re using the
Disneyland app, you can also select Apple Pay as your payment method for
mobile food orders and the
Merchandise Mobile Checkout feature, which can be a real time-saver on busy days.
Another helpful option to keep in mind is the Disney Gift Card. If you have an eGift Card, you can easily add it to your Apple Wallet directly from the email it was sent in. Near the bottom of that message, you should see an “Add to Apple Wallet” button. Once added, it’s ready to use for quick and easy payments, which is perfect for grabbing a bite at
Galactic Grill or picking up a treat from
Candy Palace without needing to dig through your bag.
Since you’re already thinking about easy ways to pay, it’s a great time to explore the
Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival. With marketplace booths featuring flavors inspired by the Golden State, it’s the perfect place to put that contactless payment to good use. From returning favorites like the Snickers Macaron to new seasonal bites, it’s a delicious way to spend part of your day strolling and sampling.
I hope this helps make your visit feel even more seamless, Leticia. If any other questions come up as you plan, we’d love to welcome you back to planDisney.
Enjoy a day filled with tasty treats!
