Hello! I've done soo much research with you and allears. Making dinner reservations 3/17. Chef Mickey- worth the food and experience? Not so much interested in eating with Mickey, have so many other choices but I did get a BF reservation there. Thanks!

    Hi Liza,

Great job! You will find your family vacation to Disney World so much more relaxing and fun with all the research you have done. I always say that half of the fun in a WDW trip, is the planning.

Our family really enjoys Chef Mickey's and we try and eat there during each one of our trips. It is one of our favorite character dining experiences and a perfect place to celebrate a special occasions like a birthday. There is a great selection of breakfast choices including eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, cereals, fruit, pastries and more. My oldest son is not a breakfast person but even he finds plenty of choices here that he enjoys. The food is yummy but honestly for us, Chef Mickey's is about the atmosphere. It is a huge treat for us to dine with Mickey, Minnie and others of the fabulous five all at the same time. If Mickey Mouse is not the big draw for you, my boys love eating in the open restaurant and watching the monorail come in and out the resort. The restaurant offers a unique setting with a view of the inside tower of the Contemporary resort and the monorail. My boys also love the celebration and dance that they can take part in throughout the meal with the characters.

It is a loud, happy, up-beat restaurant with plenty of action. Chef Mickey's is worth the trip if only for the experience itself. Hope you enjoy the time there!
