We have only done the monorail over to Magic Kingdom. Do you recommend the ferry? Morning verses evening trip?? Thank you.

Hi Stacy! “Please stay clear of the doors.” “Mantengase alejado de las puertas.” These are the familiar sounds we all love to hear when starting our day at the Magic Kingdom Park!

When it comes to getting to this magical park, you really can’t go wrong with either mode of  Disney transportation, whether it’s the Ferryboat or the Monorail, both will get you where you need to go with a view that everyone in your party can enjoy!

My family prefers to use the Monorail, but the Ferryboat is just as great. Both modes of transportation take about the same amount of time, about 10-15 minutes, to arrive at the Magic Kingdom Park.

Did you know that you also have the option to take a Monorail to Epcot from the Ticket and Transportation Center? It’s a great option if you’re wanting to visit more than one park per day.

When it comes to leaving the park at the end of the day, either mode of transportation will take some time. I find that if you’re wanting to stay at the park until it closes, you can avoid a long wait when you’re exiting if you do your shopping at the end of the night at the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. You also won’t have to carry your purchases around with you all day if you’re buying your goodies right before you leave.

Stacy, if you spend some extra time in the park after it closes, you’re in for a magical end to your perfect day with “The Kiss Goodnight.” 30 minutes after the park closes, Cinderella’s Castle starts to twinkle and “When You Wish Upon a Star” will start to play. Think of it as a whimsical way for the Magic Kingdom Park to thank you for your time there! It’s a special moment that you’re sure to remember long after your visit!
