We are doing our 1st WDW trip Sept 16-26. Our plane lands at 410 and we are considering doing the SOA that night could we do the 515 show and watch the fireworks on the beach after without it being stressful or should we go to the 800 show.

    Brittany,

There is no way you will make the 5:15 pm show. That is unless you are a movie star being met at your private plane by a limo that takes you straight to the Luau. Otherwise, if you travel like the rest of us mere mortals, you really need to schedule the 8:00 pm show. You will have plenty of other nights to watch fireworks!

Even so, that is a GREAT start to your trip! I love to hit the Spirt of Aloha show as my first evening dinner when I visit with the family, as it really starts the week off well. It gets everyone excited, and if you are staying in the Polynesian it really makes you feel like you have been transported to the warm tropical isles!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
