Hi Marrisa!
Welcome to planDisney! That sounds like such a fun trip! I love a good split stay!
As an
Annual Passholder, you will need to
make theme park reservations for each park day, even if you’re a Disney World resort guest. Since you’ll be staying at a Disney World resort, you’ll be able to make park reservations for your entire length of stay.
At the time of writing this, it looks like all parks are available for park reservations in the month of June. So, once you have an idea of where you’d like to go each day, I’d make your park reservations as soon as you can. You can always modify your park reservations (pending availability) if your plans change.
It’s good to note that there are a couple of situations in which you won’t need park reservations:
-If you plan to start any of your park days after 2 PM (except at Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays), you will not need a park reservation. If you’ll be visiting Magic Kingdom on a Saturday or Sunday, you will need a park reservation even if you won’t start your park day until after 2 PM.
-If you see a date circled on the
theme park reservation availability calendar, that’s a
good-to-go day, and you won’t need a park reservation for any theme park on that day.
One more thing before I let you go! It was just announced that
Disney World resort guests who will be arriving any time between May 26-September 8, 2026, will get
free water park tickets to use on check-in day. That means that each time you check into a Disney World resort during your split stay, you’ll get to enjoy that perk. Plus,
both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open, so you’ll have options!
I hope you have the best trip! Let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your trip. We’re always happy to help!
