    Kerrey,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

Disney loves to make your stay as easy as possible. That includes helping you move from one home in the magic to another! As long as you are moving between Disney Resorts Collection hotels (which you are!), Disney will move your bags over for you. All you need to do on your change day is drop your bags off in the morning at the Bell Services Desk at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and inform them you are moving to Disney's Pop Century Resort. They will handle getting them to your new resort. While they handle your bags, you get to handle some rides at the parks!

All you need to do is pick up your bags from the Bell Services desk at Pop Century when you arrive later that day. Understand that it can take several hours for those bags to move over, so don't expect them to magically appear minutes later at your new home. Also, make sure that all your belongings are secured as if they were going into an airplane baggage hold. They have always handled my bags with attentive care, but they are transporting luggage, and loose items that can fall out might get overlooked.

    BONUS TIP
When it comes to bag transfers, I always like to let the Bell Services desk know about the move a day or two in advance. They will appreciate it, and it will streamline getting your bags from Point A to Point B.

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
