Doing resort only trip, no parks. Will do topolino breakfast, but what other things can we do that give Disney experience without parks. Two kids 6, 2. Staying at AoA.

    Happy New Year, Danielle!

I'm absolutely delighted to welcome you to planDisney! How exciting that you're planning a resort-exclusive stay at Walt Disney World...now that's a wish come true! I've done this a few times myself, and I can honestly say it never fails to feel magical. One of the best parts about Disney is that the magic is always in the air, turning even the simplest moments into something extraordinary. So grab your magic carpet, and let's soar off to explore some options that will be a perfect fit for you and your family!

To begin with, I love that you've snagged a breakfast reservation at Topolino's Terrace. It's one of my favorite character dining experiences, and the food is absolutely delicious! After your meal, be sure to step out onto the terrace, where you'll be treated to breathtaking views where you can actually spot all four theme parks! While you're there, I highly recommend taking some time to stroll around Riviera Resort. The beautifully detailed murals throughout the resort are absolutely stunning and make for perfect photo opportunities.

Staying at Art of Animation is a fantastic choice. One of the biggest perks is its location right on the Disney Skyliner route. I'd definitely suggest taking advantage of this by doing a little resort hopping. From Art of Animation, you can glide over to Riviera and continue on to Caribbean Beach Resort. You can also head to the EPCOT area to visit Beach Club, Yacht Club, and Boardwalk, all of which are fun to explore and each offers unique theming. While you're in that area, you could even walk over to the Swan Hotel for a fun round of putt-putt at Fantasia Mini Golf

Another great idea is to set aside a full day to explore Disney Springs. There's so much to see and do, from shopping and dining to live entertainment. Your little ones will love hopping on the carousel and train ride located in the Marketplace, which is a great way to add some playful Disney magic to your day.

And when you're back at your home resort, don't miss time at the Big Blue Pool. Inspired by Finding Nemo, it's not only beautifully themed, but it also holds the title of being the largest pool on all of Walt Disney World property...perfect for relaxing or letting the kids splash and play.

Finally, be sure to check your resort's daily activity schedule during your stay. Disney Resorts offer a variety of fun experiences, including campfire activities, crafts, Movies Under the Stars, and more.

Danielle, I hope this gives you a good starting point for fun ideas during your resort stay with your family. And remember, when it comes to planning your Disney adventure, you ain't never had a friend like...planDisney!

    Magical Wishes,
