Ahoy, Sophia!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are so smart to do your homework for your upcoming Disney Cruise! There are a lot of things to learn about cruising with Captain Mickey, and I hope you are finding the Disney Cruise Line website and the Disney Parks Moms Panel helpful in your research!
When we set sail with Disney Cruise Line over 10 years ago, we fell in love with their youth clubs! Our Mouseketeers could not get enough, and we loved the flexibility and ease of the programming. During the
Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab's hours of operation, you can check your sailors in and out as often as you'd like! Checking in and out does not have be done at a certain time or correspond to a planned activity, so it's really up to you! The only thing that will come into play is if the club or lab is offering an Open House. These are held each day and allow Guests of any age to enjoy one of the youth spaces. They will be listed in your cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator and on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app so be sure to check each day to see when these times are offered. For example, if your sailors are already playing in the club and an Open House is coming up, the counselors will move them into the lab until the Open House is over. If you bring your sailors to the lab during Open House, the counselors will direct you over to the club.
My kiddos have spent countless hours in these imaginative areas over the years, and there were many nights they did not want to leave and were the last ones there! Not only did they love all the fun experiences in the club and lab, but they really enjoyed getting to know the fabulous counselors! I hope your future Disney Cruisers feel the same about their time in these amazing spaces!
