Ahoy, Carrie!
You are less than a month away from TWO Disney Cruise Line vacations on the beautiful
Disney Dream! I can only imagine the excitement you are feeling right now as you count down to your back-to-back sailings. As you may already know, the not so magical part of a cruise vacation with Mickey is having to say "Sea Ya Real Soon," but that will be VERY soon for your crew as you enjoy TWO days in
Nassau, TWO days on
Disney Castaway Cay (WOO HOO!) and a relaxing day at sea.
Carrie, my family has experienced a back-to-back Disney Cruise Line vacation before, and we thought the transition process between the two was seamless. The night before the first cruise was over; we received a letter in our stateroom with very specific instructions on disembarkation, including important times and what would be available to us once we embarked the vessel again. We were assigned the same
stateroom for the second voyage, so our belongings stayed on the ship. I did bring a small backpack off with a few activities to keep my Mouseketeers busy in the terminal. You will be required to present yourself to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol and check-in again, so you'll want to bring along your valid passports or birth certificates with Government-issued photo identification along with your "Key to the World" cards from the first sailing. Once you pass through Customs, you'll head back up the escalator to wait until they are ready to check you in again. We waited in the terminal's Concierge Lounge and were the first back on the ship once it was cleared. It didn't take long at all!
I hope this gives you a good idea of what to expect, Carrie! Please don't hesitate to reach out again if you have any additional questions. We are always hEAR to help.
Have a DREAMy day!
Nancy
