We are doing s 3-night Bahamas cruise on the Dream. Will there be a pirate night? Or is that only for longer cruises? Also, my parents are sailing with us and it will be their 50th anniversary, is there anything special we can arrange for them?

Welcome aboard, Stacey! Your family must be excited to set sail on the Disney Dream! The three-night sailings are such a great taste of everything that Disney Cruise Line has to offer, and you'll be happy to know that yes, they do include Pirate Night!

Pirate Night is one of my family's favorite nights onboard. Everyone gets decked out in their swashbuckling best to become pirates for all the pirate-themed fun in the evening, pirate-themed meal at dinner and of course the Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party and fireworks at sea! So, be sure to pack some pirate gear for everyone to wear, or even just pirate accessories. There will be plenty of options available for purchase onboard if you don't have your own, but many guests bring their own pirate gear from home.

Congratulations to your parents on their 50th wedding anniversary! What a way to celebrate! If you haven't done so already, be sure to add a note to your cruise reservation stating that you'll be celebrating their anniversary onboard. The Cast Members like to make a big deal about that! Then, check out the Gifts and Amenities page to see what extras are available to help make the day even more special. There are some romance packages, beverage packages, and a celebration package that includes stateroom decorations, as well as the possibility to order a specialty cake. I hope you find something perfect to help you celebrate this wonderful event! I'd recommend also booking a meal for them at Palo or Remy, the adult exclusive restaurants onboard. There is an additional charge to dine at those spots, but I promise the food and romantic atmosphere make it worth every penny, especially for such a big occasion such as this!

    Happy planning, Stacey!
