For starters, I absolutely love that you're planning a split-resort stay. It's one of my favorite, best-kept secrets at Walt Disney World and something my own family enjoys doing quite often. It's a fantastic way to add extra magic to your vacation, giving you the opportunity to experience the unique theming, dining, and atmosphere of more than one resort all in a single trip. It truly feels like getting two vacations in one!
I have some extra exciting news to share! On the day you check out of your
Deluxe Resort, you're still considered a Guest of that resort all the way until midnight, even if you're moving to a
Moderate Resort later that day. That means you can still enjoy the perks of a Deluxe Resort stay, including
Extended Evening Hours on your check-out day. Woohoo!!
I checked the
Hours & Events Calendar, and it looks like your Extended Hours will be either at EPCOT or Magic Kingdom. Visiting the parks at night is always such a treat. You'll be able to enjoy so many attractions, and nighttime rides are always something special. My kids especially love riding
Test Track and
TRON after dark. They feel it makes the experience even better!
