    Hi! Doing both MNSSHP and MVMCP this year for the first time!!!! Looking for some "must know" info so we can make the most! Party of 5, DS7 and DD14 months!!! So excited :) staying onsite

    The parties are incredible!

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of our family's favorite events. I do highly recommend the party, if it doesn't break the budget.

    There are some unique events during the party that are really special. First, it "snows" on Main Street. You'll be able to view the castle which shimmers with icicle lights while listening to Christmas Carols. Its quite an experience!

    The special Holiday parade is also a great event. The floats and characters are all decked out for the Christmas. I think think Goofy's float is the best - but I won't spoil it for you!

    The night is topped off by a special version of Wishes! But, the night isn't over - there are character dance parties, free cookies & hot chocolate and many other special shows.

    As for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, we love that too! Not only is this special event typically less crowded than a normal park day, but there are so many special events and sights to see! We even love people-watching and seeing the costumes that guests have brought just for the party!

    During the last party we attended, there were huge inflatable characters and creatures in a few locations in the park and entrance. These brought a huge smile to our face. We also enjoyed the extra, friendly "spookiness" near the Haunted Mansion.

    You'll also have many opportunities to Trick-or-Treat throughout the park.

    And, last but not least, be sure to grab a spot for the parade! The past years' parades have been kicked off by a headless horseman out for a gallop down the streets of the Magic Kingdom. While I don't want to give away all the surprises, I will say that this parade is my favorite of all-time.
