Doing Mexican Riveria Oct. (Again!). Trying to figure out formal/semi-formal nights. Its a 5 day not a 7 (which we did before) so I wanted to see is there one night or 2? Also I heard we need to reserve parking in San Diego so any tips to do that? 49 days!

    Ahoy, Jamie!

On our recent 5-Night cruise on the Disney Dream, there was one optional dress-up night. Our family LOVES to get all dressed up, so we treated it as a formal night, and my girls and I had a blast walking around in our ball gowns and my husband in his tuxedo. So, you can expect one "dress-up" night on your 5-Night cruise to the Mexican Riviera.

Don't forget to pack your best pirate gear for Pirate Night as well. This is usually my favorite night of any Disney Cruise Line vacation! The fruit cobbler dessert on the Pirate Night menu is, in my opinion, the best one that I get to indulge in.

As far as parking in San Diego, since I have never cruised from that port, I simply did a Google search with the words "Parking in San Diego to cruise" and a great website popped up with parking that is right across the street from the cruise ship terminals. I encourage you to try this, too!

I hope you have a WONDERful time cruising the Mexican Riviera on the Disney Wonder. Please come back and visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any more questions before you set sail.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
