We are doing a late check in, after 10pm. I have requested a crib for the room but will the crib already be in the room or will we have to wait for it to be brought once we check in? Just wondering how long sleepy kids will be waiting for their bed!

    Hi, Jennifer!

I have been in your shoes - coming in late at night to start a Walt Disney World vacation with one or two sleepy heads in tow. You just want to get to your Walt Disney World resort hotel and fall right into bed.

Even though you can do online check-in, and you'll be texted your room number as soon as your resort room is ready, you'll still need to communicate with the front desk to have the crib brought to you. If you have done online check in, you can go directly to your resort room, then call down to the front desk to have the crib delivered. Alternatively, you can stop at the front desk on your way in and remind them.

In my experience, especially late in the evening, they get it to you as soon as they can. I'm sure they understand how important it is to get little ones to sleep right away after a day of traveling, so they do their best to get you situated as quickly as possible.

While you're visiting the theme parks, you should absolutely take advantage of the Baby Care Centers. They offer a comfortable place to do a diaper change, or a spot to rest up, feed the baby, and cool off.

    Have a magical vacation!
