We are doing a land and sea tip in about 52 days. When we come back from the cruise we are spending days at Star Wars, we are making lightsabers, however we are flying and want to send them home, we wanna know how much it will be to ship them home.

Bright suns, Rebecca! It sounds like 2020 is going to be magical! Now you can make a resolution to hang out with Mickey and his pals on both land and sea this yEAR!

If you are one with the Force, then I know you will want to seek out Savi's Workshop, which is covertly located in Black Spire Outpost. A reservation to Savi's Workshop can be made on the Walt Disney World website up to 180 days in advance, and it includes one builder and one guest. Before you pay, a Cast Member will hand you a lightsaber "menu" to help you choose from four available hilt themes: Peace and Justice, Power and Control, Elemental Nature, and Protection and Defense. The menu also offers a choice of blue, green, red, or violet kyber crystals, which bring the lightsabers to life. Guests can purchase additional kyber crystals in white, yellow, or the super rare black at Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities. Builders are also provided with a canvas carrying case for their saber that they can sling around their backs.

Although the lightsabers are TSA approved, some airlines count them as a carry-on, so many guests are now opting to ship them directly to their homes; you'll find shipping options at Droid Depot or Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities. The cost of shipping varies based on the shipping destination. I spoke to a friend who also lives in Pennsylvania, and in her experience, it was about $18 for 10-14 day ground shipping and $40 for 3-5 day air shipping; however, keep in mind that prices are subject to change at any time.

Check out the Disney Parks Blog for some tips before your journey! May the Force be with you, Rebecca!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania! I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique. It's incredible how many people you can find who love talking about "The Most Magical Place On Earth!" I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
