    Doing a GG in 2011, there 15 in party but each family has 5 members. When we go dine together using the dining plan, how will they charge the gratuity, since its automatic 18% wparties of 6 or more but we will be sitting as 15 but 3 different dining plan

    Hi Summer! It's so much fun to visit Disney World with a big group of friends or family! An 18% gratuity is automatically added to the dining bill for large parties. Even though you are all dining together, just tell the server that each family wants a separate check. The check will include charges for any items ordered that aren't covered by the dining plan credits and each family's portion of the gratuity. (I just returned from a trip during which my family dined with other families and on a few occasions, when the server separated the bills, he or she did not add the gratuity, so be sure to review your check to make sure your server is appropriately compensated.)
