we are doing a five day cruise on the disney wonder, in october. will there be a pirate night or just the halloween party? and how does dining schedule work i want to schedule the adult only restaurant but don't want to miss out other restaurants

Welcome aboard, Chelsea! I am so excited to set sail on the Disney Wonder for a Mexican Riviera sailing this fall too! You are in for so much fun and magic. Since it's a Halloween on the High Seas sailing, there's even more spook-tacular fun in store. I just adore walking in the ship for the very first time on embarkation day and being greeted by the huge Pumpkin Tree, which magically and eerily changes throughout the sailing!

You will definitely get a Pirate Night and Halloween Trick or Treat night with Mickey's Mouse-querade Party, plus all sorts of other Halloween festivities. So, if you're considering costumes, bring one for the Halloween events and a swashbuckling costume or accessories for Pirate Night too!

It's wonderful that you're looking to book a dinner at Palo. That is my favorite restaurant on all four ships. My husband and I never miss an opportunity to dine there when we sail, sometimes even twice in one cruise! Since Disney features Rotational Dining, you'll rotate through the three main dining restaurants throughout your cruise, visiting two of them twice, since you're on a five-night sailing. You won't know your dining rotation until you arrive, though if you'd like to be in a certain restaurant on a certain night, you're welcome to request that ahead of time. They can't guarantee it, but they do their best to accommodate these types of requests. Usually on the Wonder's five night cruises, the second and third night, you'll dine in the same restaurant, and the first and last night you'll dine in the same restaurant, with that fourth night being in the final restaurant. Hopefully that will be the same when you cruise too, and that may help as you determine your Palo reservations.

    Have such fun planning, Chelsea!
